In the French two days stage race Tour de Belle Isle en Terre – Kreiz Breizh, Team Coop – Hitec Products showed itself well. Ingvild Gaskjenn sprinted two a seventh place in both stages, which was good for an eighth place in the general classification. Amalie Lutro went in a long attack in the second stage, to set up the sprint for Ingvild together with Mari Hole Mohr in the final.
Team Coop – Hitec Products have renewed the contract with three of their Norwegian riders. Ingvild Gaskjenn, Mari Hole Mohr and Nora Tveit will also race for the Norwegian based UCI-team in 2022. For Gaskjenn it will be the sixth year on the team, while Hole Mohr and Tveit both joined the team this season. Team Coop – Hitec Products expects to announce more contract renewals and new riders in the upcoming period.
Where a part of the team raced in the Netherlands and Belgium during the Baloise Ladies Tour, the other part of the team was active in the Czech Republic. They participated in the Tour de Feminin. With a fifth place in the general classification and second place in the youth classification, Anne Dorthe Ysland showed how allround she is. Ingvild Gaskjenn sprinted to two sixth places.
Team Coop – Hitec Products cyclist Mieke Kröger has ended in second place in the general classification of the Baloise Ladies Tour. In the four days stage race that started in the Netherlands and finished in Belgium, the German rider came fourteen seconds short for the overall win. “My shape is good. I am looking forward to the Olympics in Tokyo.”
Team Coop – Hitec Products has signed a new rider for the remainder of the 2021 cycling season and the 2022 season. Ane Iversen joins the team and will make her debut on international level in the Baloise Ladies Tour. Iversen (28), who started cycling only three years ago, impressed at the Norwegian championships, taking a fourth place in the individual time trial. “I am very grateful for the offer to joining the team and hope I can be a contributor to the team.”
The road race of the Norwegian championships have resulted in a third place for Ingvild Gaskjenn. In a sprint for the second place, she only saw Emilie Moberg finishing in front of her. Five seconds before them, Vita Hein crossed the finish as the winner. In the final she rode away from a fourteen riders breakaway, in which Anne Dorthe Ysland also was present for Team Coop – Hitec Products.
