Where a part of the team raced in the Netherlands and Belgium during the Baloise Ladies Tour, the other part of the team was active in the Czech Republic. They participated in the Tour de Feminin. With a fifth place in the general classification and second place in the youth classification, Anne Dorthe Ysland showed how allround she is. Ingvild Gaskjenn sprinted to two sixth places.
“It was four good days racing and I take with me a good experience from the Czech Republic”, Anne Dorthe looked back after the race. “It started really well with a fourth place on the TT, which also gave me the white jersey. Unfortunately I lost it by one second on the second stage, after missing the bonus seconds.”
Anne Dorthe hoped to get the jersey back. “The last two stages I tried to fight for the white jersey, however my legs weren’t good enough, so then it’s fair. It wasn’t good enough this time to get the jersey, but still I got some good results to take with me back home. I ended up fifth in the GC and was only 2 seconds behind the white jersey. I am happy with that.”
