Team Coop – Hitec Products are pleased to announce Norwegian rider Magdalene Lind will join the team as of April 1st 2023. The 20-year old has already shown herself to be a strong rider in her first two years as an U23, coming 5th place in the Youth classification at the AG Tour de la Semois in 2022, as well as 3rd U23 in the Norwegian National Championships. She makes the step up to UCI Continental Team from Belgian club team Keukens Redant.
“I have developed as a cyclist and now I feel ready to take the next step”, Lind says about the new chapter in her cycling career. “I am so thankful that Coop Hitec have seen my potential and I am ready to give it all, to fight, to develop and to achieve the goals that the team sets! And I am also looking forward to learn from the girls and the staff, and to contribute positively to the group. I also have to mention that I am grateful for the way Tone and Karl have given me this opportunity even though I have struggled with a concussion after a bad crash in October. They show that they believe in me and that makes me very motivated!”

Team Manager Karl Lima is optimistic about the talents of the young Norwegian rider:
Magdalene is a young, hard-working talent we have been following for several years. As a lightweight rider she is an obvious climbing type, but she is also explosive and can go well in a sprint.
