27.September. 7 girls from the team started in the road race in Ponferrada, it was marred by a cruel crash that saw Miriam going down along with half the peloton. Elisa made the select few to compete of the win but her late attack did not succeed. It cam down to a small bunch sprint that was won by Pauline Ferrand Prevot of France. 23.September. Elisa, Julie and Audrey started the ITT that was won by former Hitec-rider Lisa Brennauer. Results
21.September: From a 13th place in 2013 we came back to the TTT with one single goal: To be top 10. With a even matched team machine with 6 good riders/3 good staff we managed this, even though the dreadful crash of Rabo women gave us an extra place up than we else would have got. We wish a speedy recovery to the Rabo girls. Specialized Lululemon demonstrated that they are the world champions in this dicipline, no matter who they have on the team Results here.
14.September. 3 girls on start and Audrey, Elisa and Cecilie took the 6th, 7th and 9th place in a massively strong start field, with world champion Ellen van Dijk being beaten by the Ukranian Solovey for the win.
13/14.September. Lauren, Emilie and Tone proved a deadly trio in the last Norwegian cup races of the year. On the saturday on Malmheim, Lauren and Emilie did a massive leadout and Tone took a long wanted win on home turf. On the Sunday, Escapees Lorvik (CK Victoria) and Lauren was caught in the final 300 meters, Emilie took the win ahead of Bjønnes (Grimstad), Lauren and Tone. A stage race won by Annemiek van Vleuten (Rabobank) with many good achievements, not least the 5th place in the TTT on Stage 2, but the most joyful was Chloe’s win in the stage 3, read about it on Chloe’s Blog here.
