A long week of racing in France, the race was won by Elisa Longo Borghini (Wiggle Honda) whos team also dominated the race. We started with 5 riders since Shana van Glabeke was selected for the Europeans. The team worked really hard as a unit to achieve great results. Tone and Janicke are both professional domestics who contributed strongly. Ingrid was a great support for our leader Lauren on the hard hilly Friday stage. Cecilie sprinted into top 10 the last stage after losing her GC placement on stage 5. Lauren Kitchen showed her class the whole week with 5 top 10 placements. Hard race day in Belgium! Vita seemed to be our hero of the day, but her breakaway ended with 1 lap to go. New break of 2 riders escaped where De Jong (Nederland) won. Miriam sprinted  to 4th place and took a decent result.

This years rainy and windy edition can easily be nicknamed “La Crash”. 3 big crashes and countless small ones marred the race. It didnt quite finish like we hoped, best was Kirsten on a 9th place, after crashes, punctures and bike changes. Race winner was Anna van der Breggen (Rabo) who soloed to victory.

After a strong week of racing in Germany we ended up with an overall 15th place for Tatiana, a 5th place on stage for Miriam, and 2 6th places for Lauren. Emma Johansson (Orica) won the race after a nail-biting finish.
