As last year, Elisa got into the descicive chasde break of 3 riders after Oude Kwaremont, following a strong team performance in the early stages of the race. But ahead was Ellen van Dijk (Dolmans) who was uncatchable that day. Elisa got 4th in the sprint. Elisa moves up to 5th place in the new world cup rankings, as do the team.

In the first national road race for Tone in 2014 she won the 10 km time trial ahead of Hanna Eikås (Stavanger SK) and Cathrine Alfredsen (CK Haugaland)
A good team effort put Elisa in the final break of 8 riders. It ended in a photo finish between Emma Johansson (Orica) and Elisabeth Armitstead (Dolmans) that Emma won by a whisper. Elisa ended 6 in the sprint. Also Ashleigh had a fine result with her 15th place. The team is now number 8 in the overall ranking with Elisa our best placed rider on a 10th place.

World Cup ranking after 2 rounds
The race went in excellent conditions, in sharp contrast to the 2013 edition. The team raced well together for the first 36 km and our leaders Emilie and Chloe were placed well in the first group over the Kemmelberg. In the descicive moment after about 90 km, there formed a group of 8 riders were we unfortunately werent present. We made a sprint for Emilie in the peloton were she ended 5th and thereby 13th overall. Lauren Hall (USA) won the race.

In the womens version of Dwars Door Vlaanderen, Thea Thorsen finished 4th after joining a 5 rider break that beat the peloton with 40 seconds. Amy Pieters (Giant Shimano) won. The rest of the team did a fine work for Thea in the peloton.

The team started for the 4th consecutive time in the French cup opener. The team raced well and got Julie, Elisa and Audrey in the select group of 15. Later the group was down to 11 and in the end Emma Johansson (Sweden) escaped with Elisa. Emma was the strongest in the sprint and Elisa was also overtaken by the sprinter Jolien d’Hoore (Lotto) in the end. Audrey sprinted to a 5th place in the chase group, while Julie took the peloton sprint for a nice 11th place.
