With Greta Richioud Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport adds a new rider to their team for the 2020 season. The 22 years old French rider is currently racing her fifth year as an UCI-rider. She joined the professional peloton with FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope and is still racing for that team. Richioud is a rider who can do a good sprint after a hilly race. She is the second reinforcement for the team, after Norwegian talent Silje Mathisen.
“I am very proud to join Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport in the upcoming season”, says Richioud. “I would like to thank Mr Karl Lima for giving me this confidence for 2020. This year the team was already very succesfull. I hope to be able to contribute to many successes and show the colors of the team on the international level.”
Team manager of Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport, Karl Lima, is happy to add Richioud to the team. “Greta is exactly what we are looking for. She is a young, determined talent. A former junior European champion, who has worked well as a team player at FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope. We want to release her potential, especially in harder, hilly races. Our talks also show that she will be an enrichment to our unique team environment.”
