Victory in Omloop van Ijsseldelta (UCI 1.2)

Another textbook win for the team as we covered every move in the race, before setting up our train at 6 km to go, with Kirsten finishing it off perfectly. A great team performance!

Nordsjørittet

Time to find the MTBs again, and 7 girls to start in the local marathon race outside Stavanger. For the 6th time in a row we won the elite women class, but for the first time we didnt have the fastest women of the day. Young junior Susanne Andersen from Stavanger won the 2-up finish line sprint vs Emilie, on a day the rest of the team didnt have the best form. Emilie won the elite class and both the intermediate sprints, while Tone was 4th and Vita 5th.

Sprint price for Emilie in the World Cup in Philadelphia (CDM)

The girls made a great effort to get a result in the 6th round of the world cup. Multiple attacks in the end lead to nothing as Charlotte Becker was reeled in by the chasing peloton with 4-5 km to go. Emilie Moberg won the integral sprint contest, after great leadouts by Kirsten Wild. Miriam Bjørnsrud was our best with a 21th place, while Elisabeth Armitstead (Boels Dolmans) won the race.

Canadian Victory for Kirsten in GP Gatineau (UCI 1.1)

Another great team victory, the first on Canadian soil for us. The girls closed down countless attacks during the race, especially from Velocio SRAM, but in the end it came down to a bunch sprint and Kirsten delivered yet again to take our 14th UCI Victory for 2015.

Winston Salem Cycling Classic (UCI 1.2)

The first ever race for the team in USA didnt go to plan. It was Janicke Gunvaldsens debut for the team and she was well visible at the front the first part of the race. Although no real results for the team Kirsten won the intermediate sprint contest in the race. Really unfortunate that Julie crashed out of the race in a descent, we wish her a speedy recovery.
